4TH JICA CHAIR LECTURE SERIES, IN COLLABORATION WITH ATENEO DE MANILA UNIVERSITY
The 4th JICA Chair Lecture Series, in collaboration with Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), titled ‘Japan’s Contribution to Peace Building: Bangsamoro’s Path to Peace,’ took place today at the ADMU campus.
The event featured a diverse lineup of speakers and panelists, including Professor SHINODA Hideaki from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, MAFAR Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., and the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), Director Farrah Grace Naparan from the Office of Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU), Dr. Jennifer Oreta from ADMU’s Department of Political Science, Senior Director MUROTANI Ryutaro from JICA’s Governance and Peacebuilding Department, and Mr. OCHIAI Naoyuki from JICA’s Southeast Asia Department.
Launched in 2020, the JICA Chair program aims to facilitate the sharing of Japan’s modernization experience with partner countries and foster discussions on common challenges and solutions.
