AMAD conducts training on financial management, simple bookkeeping

The Agribusiness Marketing Assistance Division of the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform led the training on financial management and simple bookkeeping on June 21-23 at Golden Lace Fine Dining Resto, Cotabato City.

25 participants from the regional office, provincial offices of Maguindanao, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and SGA participated in the said activity.

“This training aims to help you to become more equipped in managing your business, resources, and money. Our main agenda here is to give you additional strategy in developing your financial resources,” said Senior Agriculturist Ramil M. Timpolok.

During the inspirational message given by Director II for Agriculture Services Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel said the training intends to get the participants to become more knowledgeable in using their available resources.

“We all know that Bookkeeping is a simple thing yet the most important device to be learned because it is part of our daily operational activity, we should always bear our mind that everything must be put into a record for our basis”. said Guiamel.

“This activity will help you to spend and value your resources wisely, we should be wiser in spending our money and always do self-evaluation. We should consider that the thing we are spending is operational,” Guiamel emphasized.

The training showcases the presentation of certain topics by Accountant II Bai Jehana D. Karim, CPA, are the Importance of Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping in the enterprise, The Bookkeeping Flow-Chart of Accounts, Preparation of Work and Financial Plan, Investment Cost, Sales and Return on Investment, and Cash Flow Statement.
