It is aimed at showcasing convergence of assistance from different organizations to provide sustainable livelihoods for the needy people and bring about peace and development.

Guided by its principle “Siyap sa Marawi, Gagaw ko Pagtao” (Caring for Marawi, Love for Fellowmen), Kawiyagan is carried out with development partners such as the Food and Agriculture Organization and World Food Programme of the United Nations, Community and Family Services International (CFSI), and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) among others.
