ASSOCIATION IN MAGUINDANAO RECEIVES AGRICULTURAL INPUTS FROM MAFAR-FAO

MAGUINDANAO | July 2, 2021

The United Nations of Food and Agricultural Organization (UNFAO)of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform conducted a distribution of agricultural inputs in support of Agriculture-based Livelihood and Agribusiness Enterprises for Sustainable Peace and Development in Maguindanao and Cotabato on July 2, 2021, at Barangay Narra, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.

It was awarded to Narra Amana Irrigators Association funded by UNFAO in collaboration with Magungaya Mindanao Inc. (MMI) headed by MMI-UNFAO coordinator Zuliekha LG with MMI-UNFAO staff and company.

The association received NSIC 222 Inbreed Rice Seeds, and Agricultural inputs with the active facilitation of OIC-MAFAR Municipal Officer Charmie T. Alcantara-Sulaiman together with ARPT Toto Esmael Maadil.

Association Chairman Zainudin Daud expressed his hearty thanks and explained how they sustain the project on their association.

“Kadsukoran nami nyaba ridziki na nakoma salkami (ipinagpapasalamat namin ang biyayang ito na ipinagkaloob sa amin),” Daud said.

On behalf of MAFAR-Maguindanao, MMO Sulaiman extended the appreciation and gratitude for the support of UNFAO and MMI for the farmers in the Municipality of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.
