DAR IARCDSP AND MAFAR BARMM TURN OVER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

DAR Sub-projects funded under Italian Assistance to the Agrarian Reform Community Development Support Program (DAR-IARCDSP) turned over infrastructure projects to Municipalities of Bubong and Tamparan, Lanao del Sur, last June 22, 2021.

It aimed to contribute to the development and peace process in Mindanao to improve production among farmers and increase their net income.

The Municipality of Bubong accepted the 0.750 KM Masorot to Miabalawag Farm-to-Market Road Phase 1 and the Palao Communal Irrigation System. The Municipal Administrator, Alirakim T. Munder, thanked DAR and MAFAR for their unwavering support to their constituents, particularly the farmers.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Tamparan accepted 1 Solar Unit Dryer at Brgy. Moriatao Datu. The Municipal Engineer, on behalf of the LGU, expressed her gratitude to DAR and MAFAR for their significant assistance and contributions to the progress of the municipality and its people.

The event was graced by Atty. Ranibai D. Dilangalen, Undersecretary
Mindanao Affairs and Rural Development, MAFAR Deputy Minister Ammal D. Solaiman, Engr. Mesug P. Unda, MAFAR-Lanao del Sur officials, headed by Atty. Khalid D. Ansano, DAR-IARCDSP, DARRO XII, LGU representatives, and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations.

Usec Dilangalen shared her dedication and enticed people to support the agricultural sector. They are hoping to develop the Philippine economy, especially in Mindanao, which is considered the country’s food basket due to its rich natural resources.

Furthermore, MAFAR leading officials Deputy Minister Solaiman and Provincial Director Ansano, appreciated the recipients for their commendable implementation of the projects and hoped for its maximum utilization to respond to farmers’ needs.
