I-PLAN RPCO BARMM LEADS THE UPDATING OF PROVINCIAL COMMODITY INVESTMENT CUM LGU MODULE ENCODING SESSION

LANAO DEL SUR | June 22, 2021

The Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Lanao del Sur updated its Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP) cum LGU module encoding on June 22-25, 2021 Harbour Lights Hotel, Gusa Old Rd, Cagayan de Oro City.

The activity primarily aims to review and enhance the quality of the PCIP of Lanao del Sur province. Furthermore, as a roadmap for the agriculture and fishery sector, the update PCIP ensures that resources are maximized by achieving synergy between the different value chain players and building partnerships with the LGUs, government, and private sector.

On the other hand, the simultaneous conduct of LGU Module Encoding addresses the need to identify both PRDP and non PRDP sources of funding, determining the leverage amount generated by the PCIP.

Since the province has reconstituted the Provincial Project Management Implementing Unit (PPMIU), a re-orientation of the participants was also conducted to familiarize themselves with what is PRDP, and its objectives.

Also, the RPCO BARMM Deputy Project Director, Ammal D. Solaiman, delivers her message of support to highlight the importance of the PLGU, and she said, β€œWe are giving emphasis to Lanao del Sur and willing to extend our arms to assist and generate feasible and viable project proposals for PRDP funding.”
