I-REAP Component led the Business Plan Enhancement of the proposed subprojects under the
Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP)

The Project Support Office (PSO) Mindanao Cluster under the Investment for Rural Enterprise for Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity (I-REAP) Component led the Business Plan Enhancement on the pipeline subprojects of the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO) BARMM which was proposed by the Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Maguindanao Province. The name of the subproject is Goat Multiplication Fattening and Marketing Enterprise that aimed to establish a two level of enterprise schemes, which are the communal and farmer level.

With the 3-day activity, the PSO-RPCO technical teams were able to enhance all the aspects of the business plan on the technical write-ups and rectified the inconsistencies on the financial analysis. The Program of Works (POW) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) of the goat house were also checked by the assigned I-BUILD personnel of the PSO and RPCO to ensure the sustainability of the project since it is considered as the “critical asset” of the business enterprise.

The said activity is one of the pre-requisites prior the conduct of NPCO–PSO–RPCO Joint Technical Review and the Regional Project Advisory Board (RPAB) deliberation and compliance review. Once complied, the RPCO will issue the No Objection Letter (NOL) and will be included in the 2021 Original Fund and will be implemented and completed within the year.
