MAFAR-BARMM HOLDS SECOND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (MANCOM) MEETING

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform held the 2nd Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting from June 28 – July 03, 2021, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
The ManCom Meeting aimed to review and revisit the implementation of programs, projects, and activities, raise the issues and concerns of different divisions from different services, and address the challenges in implementing the programs, projects, and activities region-wide.
In his message, Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., congratulates the MAFAR key officials for carrying out the ManCom Meeting in Tawi-Tawi despite the challenges they have faced and the threat of Covid-19.
“We held this ManCom Meeting in Tawi-Tawi for the commitment of what we have agreed in the first ManCom meeting, and to strengthen the relationship between the Mainland and the Island Provinces,” Minister Yacob said.
“In this meeting, we have our noble purpose, and it is a manifestation of our sacrifices to review the status of our programs and activities to ensure that the ministry’s mandate is carried out efficiently and effectively,” he added.
Meanwhile, the activity highlights the Financial Status and Physical Accomplishment of Bangsamoro Appropriation Act (BAA) 2020 and General Appropriation Act of Bangsamoro (GAAB) 2021, 2022 Work and Financial Plan (WFP), and the MAFAR Hiring Status by the Chief of Accounting, Ms. Norrain S. Maganod, CPA, Mohaliden M. Mohammad, EnP., Engr. Fahad A. Kanakan, and Dir. Julie O. Maliga, RN, MPASR.
The activity was attended by the MAFAR officials led by Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., Deputy Minister Ammal D. Solaiman, Dir. II for Admin and Finance Management Services Julie O. Maliga, RN, MPASR, Dir. II for Agriculture Services Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel, Dir. II for Fisheries Services Macmod A. Mamalangkap, Ph.D., Dir. II for Agrarian Reform Services Taugan S. Kikay, Ph.D., Maguindanao Provincial Director Ronjamin Maulana, Ph.D., Lanao Del Sur Provincial Director Atty. Khalid D. Ansano, Basilan Provincial Director Hanie Muadz Junuban, Ph.D., Sulu Provincial Director Alfie U. Iribani, Ph.D., Tawi-Tawi Provincial Director Aidarus I. Nami, Ed.D., and Division chiefs of different services region.
