TECHNOLOGY TRAINING ON COFFEE PRODUCTION

LAMITAN CITY,BASILAN | January 28, 2021

The MAFAR-BARMM Basilan under the Agrarian Reform Sector conducted a 2-day Technology Training on Coffee Production in support to the Food Security Program at SCARBIDC FITS Center, Sta. Clara, Lamitan City on January 27-28, 2021.

Provincial Director II, of MAFAR-BASILAN, Hanie A. Junuban, MPA, spearheaded the conduct of the training together with the Chief of Admin and Finance Offier, Ibrahim Haruddain, MPA, the chief of Agrarian Reform Sector, CARPO Said J. Tingkahan, the chief legal Division, Atty. Sernash L. Hamid, Maluso MARO, Muamar Ibrahim, Lantawan MARO, Manuel Hamja, P.A. for Agrarian Sector, Bonnie Awalin and some of JOs of the MAFAR-Basilan Staff.

The activity started with a short program and the welcome message given by the SCARBIDC MANCOM OIC Chairman, Mr. Dimingo M. Narciso followed by a brief inspirational message from the MAFAR-BARMM Basilan key staff. Said activity were participated by twenty four (24) coffee workers who are also the cooperative target to assign temporary parcel of land for coffee development. Training proper commence facilitated by Eduardo M. Sanico.

The training was facilitated by a Resource Person, EDUARDO M. SANICO who discussed the technology of coffee from:

B. Coffee Farm Planning
C. Coffee Rejuvenation and Fertilization
D. Integrated Pest Management

The discussion on the technology training for coffee production ended on January 28, 2021 a 4:00 in the afternoon and formally close with a closing prayer by MARO MUAMAR ABDURAHIM.
