MAFAR conducts validation, monitoring in Tawi-Tawi

The Research and Regulatory Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform has conducted validation, monitoring, and surveillance of existing agrivet, agri supplies, and facilities needed for registration and licensing as well as the prevailing Arthropods and Pathogens Pests present in the Municipalities of Bongao, Panglima Sugala, Tandubas, Simunul and Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi.

On September 26 – October 03, This initiative is through the supervision of Director II for ARRS, Mr. Jamer Guimba, and OIC-ARRD Chief Raheima Amilil Amba-Mangindra emphasized to go down to stakeholders and farmer-beneficiaries to give service of “MAFAR to DOOR” aiming not to wait for them to go to the office but instead we bring the services and information they needed.

The team also assessed the actual situations of Farmers, Facilities, and establishments in terms of dealing with the Pests, Registration, Certification, Licensing, and Accreditation of their Facilities and soon made some recommendations for the interventions relevant to them.
