DG for Agriculture, Daud K. Lagasi, said in his opening statement, “We are gathered here with the purpose of the meeting to assess our marketing development status. On what we have done and what do we still need to do to iron out gaps on how we could help our primary clients, the farmers, and fisherfolks, to look for possible market linkages for their products.”

“This is a manifestation of our heartfelt concern and service to our clientele, and I congratulate AMAD for making this activity a reality to address the plights of our farmers and fisherfolks,” DG Lagasi added.

He further said that when we talk about market development, it is a consumer taking your product. The actual market is how you address our daily basic needs and how to encourage and assist them. If we develop the market, it will sustain and maintain the supply. The frequency of the goods or source is the responsibility of MAFAR.
