MAFAR INSPECTS VARIOUS PROJECTS UNDER BANGON MARAWI

Consecutive inspections were conducted by the MAFAR on September 2-3, 2020, through its inspectorate team, for the different projects funded under the Bangon Marawi Project.

With the guidance of Ammal D. Solaiman, MAFAR Deputy Minister, the team, led by Engr. Abdulhaq Gayak, was joined by BFAR-10 in the inspection of the fishing supplies and equipment delivered by the supplier at the BFAR Freshwater Fishfarm & Hatchery in Marantao, Lanao del Sur.

A brief meeting between the MAFAR and BFAR 10 was then carried out to discuss the findings of the inspectorate team so with the related fisheries programs.

The team also conducted on-site inspection, the next day, of the constructed multi-purpose building and warehouse in the Malimono-Dulay Agrarian Reform Community (ARC). These infrastructures were interventions for the agrarian reform beneficiaries.

The MAFAR team then joined an exit meeting with the Bangon Marawi Project Management Office personnel and discussed pressing concerns and status of the Bangon Marawi projects for the improvement of the agriculture, fisheries, and agrarian reform sectors in the target areas.

The meeting was presided by Deputy Minister Solaiman with the active participation of the regional and provincial project coordinators.
