MAFAR IS SERIOUS ON COVID-19

With highest concern for safety of its workforce and the clienteles amid the threat of the pandemic Corona Virus Disease – 19 (COVID-19), the MAFAR has conducted an urgent meeting, today and dealt on the necessary actions, precautionary measures, security protocol, and other significant matters.

The ministry announces that its pre-employment assessment has been postponed following the declaration from MOH and CSC. All its operations are also suspended that include distribution or farm inputs and equipment (except for validation procedures), until April 2020 or whenever recommended.

‘No travel policy’ is also strictly enjoined among its employees until further advised. Any employee with unavoidable travel should file a waiver. For any official activity, the ministry also directs the stern observance of the areas that are declared restricted by the MOH and as per issuance by the LGUs.

As part of its precautionary measures, thermal scanner and disinfectants shall be made available and utilized by the ministry. As to security protocol, all entries shall be logged and no game shall be (allowed) conducted inside the compound.

MAFAR employees shall also be advised to bring their food and water to regulate them from going out and for them to be prepared as the entry of vendors might be constrained.
