Ladderized Training Program for ARBOs Commence

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform and Task Force Bangon Marawi held TRAINING WORKSHOP ON FUNDAMENTALS OF COOPERATIVE & GOOD GOVERNANCE FOR ARBOs at ABC Hall, Brgy. Bubo, Municipality of Piagapo.
Three(3) Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) of the municipality joined the training workshop with MAFAR Provincial Director Atty. Khalid D. Ansano, CARPO Rocaina A. Mindalano, and MMO-Piagapo Nasrodin A. Saripada.
PD Ansano was humbled in informing the participants that they are the real bosses while government employees are the servants of the public. He spoke on the value of agriculture in the society being incomparably essential for man’s subsistence. He voiced his confidence on cooperativism as key to development in communities geared toward unity of individuals and growth in economy.
The aforesaid program ran for 4 days and in compliance to the training courses required and stated in CDA Memorandum Circular No. 2015-09.
The resource person, Rashid M. Bangcolongan, President/CEO of Organic Agri-Crops Production Skills Training and Assessment Center, covered on his lectures the Salient Features of Cooperative, Seven (7) Cooperative Principles, Four (4) Pillars of Cooperative Governance, and Twelve (12) Principles of Good Governance.
The program achieved its goal of instilling to participants the primary objective of cooperative formation which is to improve the quality of life of its members. Chairman of Udalo ARC Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative conveyed his learning on cooperative as an autonomous association whose members voluntarily joined together to attain common aspirations particularly on economic desires.
Basic Leadership Development Course was tackled in the succeeding days as part of the ladderized training program for ARBOs.
