Turn-over of Equipment and Project Deliverables of FishCORAL

Equipment and Project Deliverables of FishCORAL were successfully turned-over to the Provincial Office of MAFAR on February 2, 2021 at MAFAR-Maguindanao, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City.
According to FishCORAL Coordinator Honey Lou Marcelo; Fisheries, Coastal Resources, and Livelihood Project or FishCORAL is an international funded project addressed key issues that contribute to the high incidence of poverty among fishermen through sustainable management of the coastal and fisheries resources and implementation of community-based enterprises in the 180 communities of target two (2) bays or gulfs.
Additionally, the project covered four (4) provinces of BARMM such as Lanao del Sur, Sulu, Basilan, and Maguindanao. It was started in 2017 and ended last December 2020. Therefore, the said equipment and deliverables have to deliver and hand-over from the previous administration to the provincial offices of MAFAR.
The turn-over ceremony of four(4) netbooks, computer sets with CPU, monitor, and printer UPS, photocopier, scanner, underwater camera, two (2) diving gears, and two (2) motorcycles has been done between Project Coordinator Marcelo and MAFAR-Provincial Director Ronjamin M. Maulana together with Provincial Fishery Officer Datun M. Nur, Provincial Supervising Aquaculturist Noralyn A. Lumbatan, Admin and Finance Chief Jeowairiyya A. Debarosan, Supply Officer Shuaib Salwang, and other involved staffs of the FishCORAL project.
