MAFAR officials undergo SPMS orientation from CSC-BARMM
Some 28 key officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform have undergone the strategic performance management system (SPMS) from the Civil Service Commission-BARMM on May 12-13 at Alnor Convention Hall, Cotabato City.
The Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) links employee performance with organizational performance to enhance the performance orientation of the compensation system.
MAFAR Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., said the ministry underwent this orientation for us to capacitate our employees; hence this SMPS ensures that are employee achieves the objectives set by our ministry.
Minister encourages the officials to actively participate in the orientation workshop of the Civil Service Commission to assure organizational and individual significance by cascading institutional accountabilities to the distinct levels of the organization.
Mr. Zhulfikar Rauf L. Candao, Supervising Administrative Officer, and Mudjaheedin U. Lauban, Senior Human Resource Specialist from CSC- Barmm, discussed the SPMS history, introduction to performance management, prime-hrm pillars in performance management, spms policy creation, spms cycle, forms, and ratings.
