MAFAR, PRDP conducts SPAR, Pre-validation of Proposed Infrastructure in Tawi-Tawi

In its effort to fast-track its ongoing and newly proposed subprojects in the Province of Tawi-Tawi, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform and Philippine Rural Development Project Regional Project Coordination Office – BARMM conducted several activities on March 16-22, 2021.
Spearheaded by the Deputy Minister and PRDP RPCO BARMM Deputy Project Director, Ms. Ammal D. Solaiman JD, the team was constituted by representatives from different components and units vital to the success of the fast-tracking: Engr. Michael Anggol and Engr. Bolkiah Mamadsual (I-BUILD), Elsie Omandam and Abdeel Rauf Tending (I-PLAN), Noria Andie and Al-Aviv Pendulat (SES), and Suharto Dalig (GGU).
Deputy Minister/Deputy Project Director, Ms. Ammal D. Solaiman, emphasized the importance of strengthened coordination between the regional and provincial offices in the realization of all MAFAR programs and special projects.
The team presented the PRDP as a special project and the status of all PRDP ongoing and newly proposed subprojects in the province.
MAFAR Tawi-Tawi Provincial Office responded with a strong commitment to assisting in the fulfillment of all MAFAR programs and special projects.
The activities were successfully conducted the Sub-Project Appraisal and Review (SPAR) of the proposed Construction of Sallangan Potable Water Supply Level II and the pre-validation of being proposed subprojects in the Municipality of Tandubas on March 17-18, 2021. Among the conducted pre-validation included proposed sites for the construction of Cold Storage, Warehouse with Solar Drier, Foot Bridges, and Fish Landing.
