MAFAR-PRDP joins 14th World Bank Implementation Support Mission Dialogue

SULTAN KUDARAT- The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform – Philippine Rural Development Project  (MAFAR-PRDP) joined the 14th World Bank Implementation Support Mission EU Dialogue through Investment for the Rural Enterprise for Agri- Fishery Productivity (I-REAP) component for the Proponent Group (PG) on May 24, 2022, at Carlito’s Hotel, Isulan.

This dialogue aims to find out the present status of the proponent groups on how they are prepared for the Implementation and documentation to receive intervention from MAFAR-PRDP under I-REAP subprojects through the EU fund.

Kauran Christian Upland Farmers Agriculture Cooperative is the participating PG from the Regional  Project Coordination Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RPCO-BARMM) and other PGs from Region IX, Region X, and Region XI.

World Bank, headed by Eli Weiss, was very grateful for the response of the PGs and learned the present status in which PGs are very eager to answer their questions. Eli Weiss couldn’t say it is approved but is almost on the edge of approval.

Dr. Joseph Palanca, PSO- INFOACE Head, was the facilitator of the said dialogue, and Cherrilyn Lycah Babylon, Enterprise Development and Marketing Specialist of PSO Mindanao facilitated the RPCO-BARMM.

Furthermore, it was also participated by the National Project Coordination Office (NPCO), Project Support Office (PSO) Mindanao, RPCO 9, RPCO 10, RPCO 11, and RPCO- BARMM.
