The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) Tawi-Tawi led by its Provincial Director, Dr. Aidarus I. Nami joined the whole region in the celebration of the 2nd Bangsamoro Foundation Day at the MAFAR Provincial Office, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

One of the activities undertaken was the MAFARTabuan where various Agri-Fishery products were sold at a farmgate price. The three divisions of MAFAR also rendered their services to their clientele. Animal Health Services, distribution of farm inputs and leaflets, distribution of 10 sets seaweeds farm inputs, 10 sets hook and line, 200 pcs Fisheries IEC materials, Agrarian Legal Service or Legal Aid Clinic and other services were also rendered and given.

HARis and HARisa were also officially launched today as mascots of Agrarian Reform Division.

In his message, the Provincial Director encouraged everyone to adhere to the policy of the MAFAR and the BARMM as a whole, and “play with one tune” so as to achieve and accomplish the mandates given to the the Ministry.

Proper health protocols were observed during the activity.
