MAFAR, CCSPC INK MOA FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF AGRI LEARNING SITES IN BARMM

The MAFAR and the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 2, 2020 held at the MAFAR Conference Hall.

Dr Mohammad S. Yacob, MAFAR Minister and Dr Sema G. Dilna, CCSPC President, inked the MOA that states the roles and commitments of each for the establishment of agricultural learning sites and model farms in the BARMM.

A model crop production farm shall be first established in Rebuken, Sultan Kudarat so with fish production farm in Parang, Maguindanao.

Minister Yacob stated that the ministry is to provide available agricultural inputs, equipment, and technical assistance in setting up the model farms and it will also serve as venue for On-the-Job-Training (OJT) of students from the college.

The signing was witnessed by Arphia T. Ebus, Chief of Staff, Dr Taugan S. Kikay, Consultant for Special Concerns, Alimudin S. Pendulat, Operations Officer for Fisheries, Tong A. Abas, Rice and Seed Focal Person, all of MAFAR, Dr Zainodin M. Kusin, Vice President for Research Extension and Production, Dr Abunawas M. Pendaliday, Director for External and Internal Linkages, and Saudi Abubakar, Alumni President all from CCSPC.
