New MAFAR personnel takes oath

COTABATO CITY – Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., led the 7th Oath-Taking Ceremony of 141 newly hired personnel to join its ranks on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

At least 32 from the region, 37 for Maguindanao, 40 for Lanao del Sur, 20 for Sulu, 2 for Basilan, and 10 for Tawi-Tawi took their oath at Alnor Convention Hall.

Minister Yacob expressed his gratitude for the new personnel, noting that their skills and expertise would be instrumental in achieving the ministry’s goals.

He also emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork in implementing MAFAR’s programs and projects.

“Your presence here today signifies your commitment to serve the farmers, fisherfolk, and agrarian reform beneficiaries,” Minister Yacob added.

The newly hired personnel are mostly MAFAR Municipal Officers and other professionals assigned to different offices within MAFAR.

They will closely work with farmers, fisherfolk, and other stakeholders to implement different programs and projects that will improve the productivity and competitiveness of the agricultural, fisheries and agrarian reform sector.
