RPCO-BARMM conducts Operation, Maintenance Audit System

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform-Philippine Rural Development Project (MAFAR-PRDP) Regional Project Coordination Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RPCO-BARMM) conducted an inspection and monitoring of the completed sub-project in the province of Maguindanao and Tawi-Tawi as part of the Operation and Maintenance Audit System (OMAS).

On May 16, the team inspected two completed sub-project, including a 2.55 km Farm-Market-Road connecting Barangay Making-Kalutan-Makasandag, and a 3 km Farm-Market-Road in Barangay Manion, Parang, Maguindanao.

Meanwhile, five completed sub-projects in the Municipality of Tandubas, Tawi-Tawi were inspected on May 23-29, including three Warehouses with Solar Drier in the Barangay Tapian, Balak, Silantup, and one Fish Landing in Tapian Sokah and 3.6 km  FMR connecting Barangay Kepeng-Ungus Matata.

The OMAS is conducted every six months after completing the sub-projects to monitor the proper operations and maintenance of how the LGUs and residents maintain the quality and condition of the project, ensuring progress for farmers and residents benefiting from the said project.

Spearhead the activity were the RPCO-BARMM I-BUILD Component Rural Infra Engineers Baby Ann B. Usman, Rolan B. Jumalon, Rasul S. Sansaluna, Associate M&E Officer Michael R. Malbas, and Associate SES Officer Al-Aviv G. Pendulat, Jeniffer C. Sakilan together with the representative from Local Government Unit of Parang headed by Engr. Datu Zalman Salazar, and Engr. Jalalie Mustapha from LGU Tandubas.
