Today (August 6, 2020), the partnering teams gave 190 bags of urea fertilizer and 168 bottles of insecticides to the farmers, in partnership with the League of Bangsamoro Organizarions, Inc. (LBO).
The turnover of farm inputs was led by Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel, MAFAR-BARMM Agricultural Operations Chief, with Tong A. Abas, MAFAR Regional Rice and Seed Focal Person, Dr Modrika A. Masukat, MAFAR Municipal Officer, Hashim Manticayan, Technical Staff, and Atty Abbyr Nul, Legal Officer of the Office of MP Yacob.
The assistance is aimed at increasing the production and income of the needy farmers by means of farm input provision, which the farmers are not able to buy for themselves most of the time.
