TURN-OVER CEREMONY FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS TO THE MAFAR PROVINCIAL OFFICE IN BASILAN

In the exigency of public service and to ensure efficient implementation of projects and programs under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform, the FishCORAL Project conducted turn-over ceremony on January 28, 2021 for the management of equipment and implemented projects to the MAFAR Provincial Office in Basilan. This was administered as part of the preparation for the project’s closing to ensure smooth transition of the management of the project’s activities and remaining deliverables on the ground.

“I expressed my gratitude to FishCORAL Project for this turn-over ceremony. This activity does not only aimed to have a proper turn-over and coordination with the project’s intervention here in Basilan but it also exercised the Moral Governance of Bangsamoro Region through transparency, away from anomaly, graft and corruption. I assure that we will continue to support the project to achieved its goal and objectives of helping our poor fisherfolks.”, Provincial Director Hanie Junuban said during his message.

Re-orientation of the Project’s overview and the current status of the project implementation in Basilan were also presented.

The activity was facilitated by the FishCORAL Project staff headed by Honey Lou Marcelo, the Project Coordinator and witnessed by the Assistant to the Minister for Special Concerns, Mr. Pendatun S. Patarasa, the same time the OIC Chief of Fisheries Production Division.

Turn-over ceremony for the provinces of Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur and Sulu are scheduled on February, 2021.
