WORKSHOP ON MARKET DEVELOPMENT OF PRIORITY COMMODITIES IN TAWI-TAWI

Workshop on Market Development of the Priority Commodities in Tawi-Tawi 2022-2025 conducted by Agribusiness Marketing Assistance Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform last May 3-4, 2021, at Chandler Suites, Pagadian City.
A total of 30 personnel from both Regional and Provincial offices were the participants in the said workshop.
The Chief of AMAD, Dr. Tong D. Pinguiaman, led the activity and said, “seminar aimed to identify the main commodities for every province that needs to improve and promote in the value chain.”
“ I remind each participant that identifying the basic commodities in every town will lead to uplifting the economic status not only the farmers and fisherfolks but also the economic condition of every municipality and region as a whole,” Pinguiaman emphasized.
Meanwhile, Provincial Director Nami of Tawi-Tawi said, “I thanked the MAFAR Regional office for making the training possible in their province.”
“The training would serve as the basis for the farmers to capture the essential and priority commodities in their towns,” Nami added.
In connection to this, MAFAR officials graced the said event composed of Chief of Operations Tong Abas, MAFAR Tawi-Tawi personnel, Division Chiefs, AMAD staff, Acting Planning Officer, MAFAR Municipal Officers.
