COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform opened its Budget Proposal for F.Y. 2025 during the 2024 Work and Financial Plan (WFP) and Project Procurement Management (PPMP) Workshop on January 19.
This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency within the ministry’s services and other sectors, ensuring that all ministry officials are well-informed about the upcoming financial plans and promoting transparency in the planning process.
In his message, Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., expressed anticipation for increased productivity and effectiveness in project implementation for the succeeding years, 2024 and 2025.
“I officially declare the start of MAFAR budget proposal preparation for F.Y. 2025. From now on, let us include in our task the preparation of the budget for 2025,” the minister emphasized.
Meanwhile, during the workshop, Engr. Fahad Kanakan, Planning Officer III, presented a comprehensive F.Y. 2025 MAFAR budget calendar.
The presentation provides a strategic roadmap for efficient planning, coordination, and transparent communication within the ministry’s initiatives throughout the year.
This initiative also underscores the ministry’s proactive approach to strategic planning, aiming to facilitate the execution of activities outlined in the 2025 Calendar.
