𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform attended the 8th International Conference on Zakat (ICONZ) on December 17-18, to strengthen the role of zakat in addressing global poverty and well-being.
National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) led the event in collaboration with ITB School of Business and Management, and Rumah Amal Salman at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in West Java with this year’s theme, “The Zakat Contribution Towards the World Poverty Alleviation and Welfare.”
ASEAN members such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, and representatives from Indonesia and Jordan are all present at the event.
