At least 41 participants attended the facilitators on ARC community organizing and cooperative development on May 16-19, 2024, at Zamboanga City.
The agrarian reform beneficiaries who participated are from Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Lanao del Sur, Basilan, and Sulu.
Director II for Agrarian Reform Services, Tong D. Pinguiaman, Ph.D., said the training is to enhance the ARBOs’ knowledge of how to organize their group effectively and efficiently.
He said it is important for the ARBOs to be fully attentive in this training because your organization in the community will be implementing development that will uplift your province.
This activity aims to enhance production and living conditions for agrarian reform beneficiaries by improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of staff and cooperatives while promoting community organizing and cooperative development.
Training resource persons Camar D. Saumay, Consultant for BWC, and Ms. Jessica Zaragoza, CSEA Focal Person, focused their discussion on major and special programs of Agrarian Reform services, Agrarian Reform Community Development, and Cooperative Development.
