LANAO DEL SUR – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) in Lanao Del Sur, led by Provincial Director Atty. Khalid D. Ansano conducted a ceremonial distribution of aquaculture inputs with fishing gears at the MAFAR ROS Fish Farm Hatchery in Marantao on November 14, 2024.
The distributed inputs included feeds, fish nets, non-motorized boats, and other essential fishing equipment.
During the event, Atty. Ansano emphasized that these initiatives, supported by BARMM, aim to enhance the livelihood of fisherfolk and boost fish production in Lanao del Sur.
“These efforts are expected to uplift the lives of fisherfolk. Together, through collaboration and mutual support, we can achieve success,” he said.
This program reflects MAFAR’s ongoing commitment to improving the fisheries sector and supporting local communities.
