MAKATI CITY – Information, Communication and Technology Section of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform undergo Training on Documentary Production and Script Writing on October 27-31.
This activity aims to capacitate ICTS personnel with enhanced knowledge in documentary production and scriptwriting, ensuring efficient service delivery to the Bangsamoro farmers, fisherfolk, and agrarian reform beneficiaries. Additionally, it aims to develop a strategic plan and calendar for 2025, improve the distribution of MAFAR directives, and strengthen ICTS mechanisms.
Engr. Musrifa M. Mago, Chief of ICTS led the training, and attended by Information Officers from the region and provinces including the ICTS staff and Bangsamoro Radyo Mindanao personnel.
She said this training will improve the ICTS staff in producing success stories that focus on the farmers, fisherfolk, and agrarian reform beneficiaries in the Bangsamoro region.
“I would like to have your full cooperation since this will enhance your knowledge and skills to produce relevant stories of the struggles and successes of our beneficiaries. The acquired knowledge will not only benefit us but also the stories that need to be heard,” she added.
During the training, the facilitator discusses introduction to documentary filmmaking, pre-production, writing for docu and storytelling techniques, post-production, and ethical considerations.
In addition, the participants toured the Radyo Pilipinas and DWDD AFP Radio wherein to equip the team with an enhanced understanding of the everyday operations and day-to-day activities of a professional radio station.
