Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., spearheaded the Review and Assessment of PAPs FY 2023 for the Admin and Finance Management Services and Offices under the Office of the Minister at Davao de Oro.
The evaluation aims to review and assess the status of implementation, monitoring, and evaluation activities conducted by each service, division, and section under the OMIN and AFMS.
On February 21-26, the AFMS holds the assessment catering to the accounting, budget, cash, human resources, records, supply, procurement, and GSO personnel. At the same time, the Offices under the OMIN conducted the activity on February 26-29, with the participation of PPMED, ICTS, Engineering, ILD, Legal Division, RDE Services, and AMAD.
Minister Yacob said, “As the employees of the Ministry, we are gathered here for us to work together and assess our plans, programs, and projects from the year 2023.”
He said we need to look deeper at our performance and what we need to change and improve. Also, we set our goal in 2024 for the betterment of Bangsamoro farmers, fisherfolk, and agrarian reform Beneficiaries.
“This Year-End assessment is not only focused on our services but also our performance individually in the office. We need to strengthen each other because our beneficiaries need our utmost support,” he added.
During the activity proper, each service presented its accomplishments for the year 2023, followed by the implementation strategies, budget obligations, improvement of project allocations, and future directions of the Ministry for the year 2024.
Moreover, The Bangsamoro Development Academy facilitated the activity on orientation- workshop sessions on 5S in the Workplace wherein it focuses on organizing skills that begins with sorting, setting order, shining to make things clean, standardizing and sustaining.
With all of the planned developments and improvements for 2024 and workshop on 5s, the Ministry is ready to address the needs of the Bangsamoro farmers, fisherfolk, and agrarian reform Beneficiaries.
