The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform is participating in the Mindanao Trade Exposition (MTE) Fair, showcasing its commitment to highlighting the vibrant agri-fishery products of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
MAFAR is represented by the Agribusiness Management and Assistance Division (AMAD), the Fisheries Post Harvest Marketing Division (FPHMD), and MAFAR’s beneficiaries, Mhanies Food Products from March 1-5, 2024, at Abreeza Mall.
During the event, the MAFAR booth at the trade fair was bustling with activity as visitors eagerly explored the diverse array of agricultural and fishery products on display. From processed agricultural goods to delectable preserved seafood offerings, our showcase highlighted the abundant resources of Mindanao’s land and seas.
Mhanies Food Products proudly stood alongside us, showcasing their unique offerings and sharing their inspiring journey as beneficiaries of MAFAR’s support that empowers small-scale agripreneurs in the agri-fishery sector.
Attendees engaged with representatives from AMAD, FPHMD, and Mhanies Food Products, gaining insights into the importance of supporting local agriculture and fisheries and learning about various initiatives to uplift communities in Mindanao.
As the trade fair progresses, MAFAR anticipates the continued success of our collaboration with the event organizer, Mindanao Trade Expo Inc. (MTE), and eagerly looks forward to future opportunities to promote sustainable agriculture and empower agri-fishery entrepreneurs in the region.
MAFAR is confident to drive positive change and foster economic growth in Mindanao.
