Farmers in Maguindanao del Norte will soon benefit from different agricultural facilities from the Special Development Program of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform.
MAFAR-SDF Program Officer Roslainie A. Mamalaguia, MAPDS led the simultaneous groundbreaking together with SDF Engineers and the SDF Project Management Office.
SDF Program Officer Mamalaguia said that the several projects of SDF reflect the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment through the leadership of Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, Al-Hadj and Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. to uplift the farmers, fisherfolks and agrarian reform beneficiaries in the region.
She said the groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant step toward enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting the beneficiaries.
The construction of multi-purpose drying pavement, which has a total dimension of 14×30 meters with 100mm thickness and a drying capacity of 80-100 bags in the areas of Brgy. Gadong, Parang, Niketan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
The SDF project includes cattle shed that will provide a secure and efficient facility for livestock in Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte. The Multi-Purpose Building with
Solar Dryer at Sitio Dilawanan, Maguindanao del Norte and Storage Facility Brgy.
Labungan, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao Del Norte.
These infrastructure projects, funded by the SDF strengthen sustainable agricultural development and improve the livelihoods of the people. As these projects progress, they are expected to significantly contribute to the long-term economic growth in the region.
