Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., awarded as Influential Leader in Public Service by Asia’s Influential Leader Awards, February 16, at Grand Ballroom, Okada Manila.
Minister Yacob earned recognition as a “Prominent Leader in Agricultural Development” through his agricultural leadership and sustainable farming practices, and enhancing food security for the Bangsamoro Region.
Asia’s Influential Leader Award Giving Body was led by President Dr. Ronnel Ibanez, who recognized Minister Yacob’s outstanding leadership abilities and transformative impact on the agriculture sector.
Asia’s Influential Leader Awards honor exceptional people who have excelled in leadership roles and significantly contributed to their fields.
During Minister Yacob’s acceptance speech, he said, “It is an honor to accept this prestigious award bestowed upon me by the Asia’s Leaders Influential Awards.”
He said, “I am truly grateful to Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim for the opportunity and trust in serving the Bangsamoro people through the MAFAR, wherein I focus on serving my community with genuine dedication.”
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at the Ministry, and it inspires us to continue our commitment to advancing agricultural development in the BARMM,” Minister Yacob emphasized.
In addition, MAFAR Officials were also present from Director Generals, Directors of different services of MAFAR, and Provincial Directors.
