Today, November 21, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MAFAR-BARMM) joins the celebration of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, honoring the dedication of Bangsamoro fisherfolk who sustain our vital aquatic resources.
We also recognize the efforts of policymakers, researchers, and conservationists who champion sustainable fisheries management.
As one of the top fisheries producers in the country, MAFAR reaffirm its commitment to protecting BARMM’s rich aquatic resources and ensuring a thriving, sustainable future for our fisheries and communities.
