The Islamic Finance Task Force of the Bangsamoro Government and Bangsamoro Turkish Educational Academy holds the βInternational Conference on Islamic Economy and Islamic Ethics and Islamic Finance Managementβ on August 1-2, 2024.
IFTF-Chair Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., spearheaded the activity together with the resource person from Turkey at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex.
Chair Yacob said during the welcoming message, βOn behalf of the organizer of this conference, my warmest greeting to all stakeholders, scholars, and researchers in sharing their knowledge in this conference.β
βThe ISECON conference aims to invite scholars, policymakers, and government employees, private sector, and NGO to discuss new developments and exchange their cutting-edge ideas on the rapidly changing field of Islamic economy and Islamic Finance Ethics.,β Chair Yacob stressed.
This conference offers the participants to improve their knowledge of global Islamic economic activities as well as academic collaboration. Thus, this ISECON will provide a good platform to discuss and clarify major issues and problems of the Islamic World, Chair Yacob added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, Al-Haj delivered his message and said βThe leadership initiative for future expectation incorporated by the Bangsamoro Turkish Academy. Your presence and determination to realize this conference are a testament to your commitment to promoting Islamic finance.β
He said may this conference motivate us to continue working towards building a more just equitable and sustainable Islamic financial system in the Bangsamoro region.
