1ST EXPANDED MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING SUCCESSFULLY HELD BY MAFAR-BARMM
COTABATO CITY | March 5, 2021
The 1st Expanded Management Committee Meeting (MANCOM) was successfully held by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform graced by Minister Dr. Mohammad S. Yacob with the different key officials of the ministry. The activity was conducted at Em Manor Hotel, Cotabato City on March 01-05, 2021.
Provincial Head and key officials of the different provinces including Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, 63 Barangay of North Cotabato were also in attendance in the said MANCOM. The meeting aims to discuss the different issues and concern that includes the role of every official, their responsibilities and the activities of every sector.
Minister Yacob expressed his grateful appreciation to all the officials coming from the regional office and provincial offices who shared time and effort that signifies a commitment to help Bangsamoro people uplift their living conditions.
The minister said he is happy because, despite the presence of the pandemic, the ministry and the officials were able to produce significant output that brought changes to every Bangsamoro farmer and fisherfolk.
“We should fear Allah, wherever, whenever, and whoever we are,” said Minister Yacob. “If we will perform these things, we will achieve moral governance as what our Chief Minister always reminded us” He added.
According to Director II for Admin and Finance Management Section Julie O. Maliga, the successful making of the meeting was true because of the active participation of every participant. And that, she thanked all the concerned officials who were part of the said meeting.
The mancom showcases with the different presentation, among were the Presentation of 90 days accomplishment report of the Provincial offices and update on existing accounts presented by the Directors from five provinces including Dr. Ronjamin Maulana of Maguindanao, Atty. Khalid Ansano of Lanao del Sur, Alfie Iribani of Sulu, Aidarus Nami of Tawi-Tawi, and Hanie Junuban of Basilan.
Presentation of Manual of Operations was also presented in the said meeting. The flagship Programs were presented by the Directors of the three sectors including Agriculture (BINHI) presented by Engr. Ismail Guiamel, Fisheries (ISDA) by Dr. Macmod Mamalangkap and Agrarian Reform (LUPA) by Dr. Taugan Kikay.
Deputy Minister Ammal D. Solaiman in her closing message extends her gratitude to all for the participation. Solaiman reminded each attendee to value every knowledge they acquired as it is the key to delivering additional services to client Bangsamoro.
After the four-day session, Minister Yacob together with the key officials including Chief of Staff Arphia T. Ebus, Directors of the regional office and provincial offices, and the rest of the officials, conducted Executive Meeting to further discuss all the issues and concerns with regards to the promotion of more programs to the client beneficiaries.
The mancom was also attended by the consultants from MAFAR, Dr. Kadiguia R. Abdullah for ICTS, Dr. Jalika D. Mangacop for Agriculture, Sukarno Andal for Agrarian Reform, and Moses Pangilamen for Fisheries.
