DELIVERY OF 2 UNITS OF SOLAR-POWERED CHEST FREEZER TO THE FISHERFOLK OF BRGY. PUNONG AND BRGY MAGANDING, PICONG, LANAO DEL SUR

Two (2) Units of Solar-powered chest freezer distributed to identified People’s Organizations the Macalinding Aisah Farmers and Fisherfolk Producer Organization Inc. of Barangay Maganding, Picong, Lanao Del Sur, and Punong Fisherfolk Association of Barangay Punong, Picong, Lanao del Sur last March 22-23, 2021.

The distribution of the solar-powered chest freezer is an initiative of FishCORAL MAFAR to support our fisherfolk in remote areas where access to electricity is limited.

POs are encouraged to engage in the processing and value-adding of fishery products to help them increase their income.

The delivery was facilitated by the Livelihood Officer, Livelihood Coordinator of Illana Bay, Bay Coordinator of Illana Bay, together with the Municipal Agricultural Officer of Picong, Lanao del Sur.
