MAYA INTERNS OPEN KOPEHAN SA MAFARLENGKE 2.0

COTABATO CITY | April 23, 2021

In support of MAFARLENGKE 2.0 the Mentoring & Attracting Youth in Agribusiness-Intern launched the KOPEHAN SA MAFARLENGKE at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform- Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MAFAR-BARMM), Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City last April 23, 2021.

A collaborative effort of 15 MAYA-Intern and Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division headed by Dr. Tong Pinguiaman, Chief of AMAD.

Dr. Tong Pinguiaman said, “This is an initiative of our Minister Mohammad Yacob to deeper their learning experience in the ministry especially in Agribusiness.”

The MAYA Program was conceived to address the increasing gap in the development of the Philippine Agribusiness sector, improving matches between labor supply and demand and ensuring that the skillsets required to meet industry standards and global competitiveness.

“The Kopehan sa Marfarlengke is a motivation to the MAYA to have a success in their internship in MAFAR and also to support the Agribusiness in the region,” Minister Yacob said.

Meanwhile, Alfuainun Dilangalen, president of Maya Intern said, “Isa po ito sa mga magandang oportunidad upang ma-enhance ang aming skills both interpersonal at entrepreneurial na magagamit namin in the future In sha Allah.”

The following personnel is present to support the activity: Engr. Ismail Guiamel, Director for Agriculture Services, Julie O. Maliga, Director for Admin and Finance Services, Tong Abas, Chief of Operations for Agriculture, Omar Dilangalen, Chief of Admin, and Hamsur Zaid, Senior Agriculturist.
