After receiving the Notice of Transfer Allocation (NTA) from the Office of the Chief Minister on March 25, 2020, the MAFAR is set to release the separation packages to its former employees including those under the Fund 158 (all batches) from the Department of Agrarian Reform National Office.

With all the cheques already signed and sent to the respective cashiers in the agriculture, fisheries, and agrarian reform sectors, the funds shall be deposited to the employees’ accounts Monday, next week according to Minister Dr Mohammad S. Yacob.

“We have ensured that the separation pay shall be given to the rightful recipients the soonest possible time despite all the challenges that we have faced such as failure of some to submit the required documents and discrepancies in some of the declarations made”, added Minister Yacob.

“We have managed to address all the hitches with our desire to give what is due to our former employees especially during this time that they are battling with the crisis brought by the Corona Virus Disease (CoViD)-19,” Minister Yacob said with all compassion.

Sukarno S. Andal, Regional Agrarian Reform Chief Administrative Officer, said there are 227 individuals, out of 233 applicants, who are to receive their separation package under Fund 158, after having been approved by the DBM. Six employees were disapproved by the DBM as they are not eligible to avail of the package with their less than one year of government service.

“We understand the extent of the situation nowadays amid the threat of the CoViD-19 and even without or beyond this, we want to make sure that we are at our best service to our clienteles as we are pushing for moral governance in support to the advocacy of the BARMM Government”, emphasized Minister Yacob.
