Workshop on Updating ARCs and ARBOs Profiles Regionwide

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform through Agrarian Reform Enterprise Development & Economic Support Services conducted a Workshop on Updating ARCs and ARBOs Profiles Regionwide on March 8-10 at CNX Travelers Inn and Restaurant, Cotabato City.

The workshop aims to establish benchmark data and updated profiles of Agrarian Reform Communities (ARCs) and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBOs) profiles nationwide and identify appropriate interventions and projects that will redound to uplift their socio-economic conditions.

In his message, Bangsamoro Director General for Agrarian Reform Services Taugan S. Kikay, Ph.D., highlights the importance of the training on validating the beneficiaries, ARBOs, and ARCs to put into the database as a basis for other partner agencies for funding support.

“Agrarian Reform beneficiaries’ production, processing, and marketing of produced crops must be assessed to see the challenges and improvements,” DG Kikay said.

The activity concluded with the presentation of the updated Agrarian Reform Communities and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Profile with a total of 110 ARCs and 240 ARBOs regionwide.
