BENEFICIARIES OF MAFAR LENDS UNDERGO FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND SIMPLE BOOKKEEPING

KORONADAL CITY | July 22, 2021

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), conducted a Three-Day training on Financial Management and Simple Bookkeeping on July 22-24, 2021, held at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.

The participants are the MAFAR-LENDS beneficiaries engaging in Marketing Enterprises. To ensure they have the knowledge and skills in Financial Management to continue the growth to obtained non-interest-bearing cash loans entrusted to them.

The MAFAR Loan for Enhancement of Necessary Development Strategies (MAFAR-LENDS) is one of the sub-component activities under the MAFAR Local Exchange and Network of Goods program in any Kind of Emergencies (MAFARLENGKE) of AMAD spearheaded by Dr. Tong D. Pinguiaman.

MAFAR Maguindanao Provincial Director Ronjamin Maulana, Ph.D., stated that we must carry out this Financial Management training, so there is no reason why we cannot manage our loan.

Meanwhile, Director II for Agriculture Services Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel hopes that the cash loan and the training will lead each cooperative into success.

“We at MAFAR want to see your success; for that, we are always here to give support and provide what we can for the growth and success of your cooperative and to all the Bangsamoro farmers and fisherfolks,” Guaimel said.

Furthermore, Mickael B. Baraguer, one of the participants, thanked the MAFAR for having Financial Management Training after being selected as one of the qualified applicants for the cash loan.

“To MAFAR AMAD officials who initiate this program, you help us obtained this start-up capital for our cooperatives, and then now you even support us growing by having this training,” Baraguer emphasized.
