As the Bangsamoro Government continues to provide moral governance for the Bangsamoro people, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform also supports the Bangsamoro farmers.

On Friday, May 21, 2021, MAFAR conducted the 3rd Ceremonial Distribution of Rice Seeds under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Seeds Program of PhilRice held at Brgy. Batulawan, Pikit, North Cotabato.

A total of 5,041 bags, from the 12,400 certified seeds allocated for SGA (63 barangays), were distributed to the rice farmers from Carmen Cluster, Kabacan Cluster, and Pikit cluster 1.

Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel, Director II for Agricultural Services, led the activity, and he encourages the farmers to cooperate with the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).
