MAFAR employees equip with technical writing skills

COTABATO CITY- 40 personnel of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform have undergone technical writing training and accomplishment report preparation workshop on April 5-7, 2022.

The Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division Chief Amador D. Tandalong said the activity aims to document the accomplishment of the ministry properly and to ensure efficient delivery of services to the Bangsamoro people.

Technical writing, as described, is a process of writing and sharing technical information in a professional setting that includes all documentation of complex technical processes.

He said this training ensures the MAFAR employees are well equipped in their duties and provide good quality accomplishment reports for the ministry.

Through this training enhances the services, divisions, and sections in documenting data for the accomplishment of the ministry, he added.

Atty. Reginald M. Pastrana, KE, from office of Support to Bangsamoro Transition (SUBATRA) is the resource person of the training, and he discussed the introduction to technical writing, Basic Concepts of Technical Writing, Standard Grammar: Common Mistakes, Principles, and Practices for Technical Writers, Documenting Official works, Preparing and Writing Accomplishment Reports and Common Types.
