MAFAR personnel converges to craft the ministry’s budget proposal for FY 2023

COTABATO CITY- To increase the inclusiveness of budget planning, development, and implementation of the ministry’s 2023 budget, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform conducted the Regional and Provincial Joint Planning Workshop through the Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division.

MAFAR Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., said proposals should effectively support our partners (beneficiaries) and protect the people. Also, use the food security and nutrition roadmap as your guide.

The three-day activity focused on the Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) presentation of the Fisheries, Agriculture, and Agrarian Reform Services held at Paragon Hotel on April 13-15, 2022.

MAFAR officials intensively reviewed the proposals to assure that PAPs have to target commodities to strengthen their interventions, no duplication among the services, and in previous years, projects that greatly benefit the beneficiaries and are in accordance with the ministry’s mandate. This activity is in line with the preparation of the BARMM budget for FY 2023 of MFBM aligned to the 12-point agenda of the Chief Minister.
