MAFAR-PRDP conducts monitoring of the ongoing subproject in Maguindanao

MAGUINDANAO – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform-Philippine Rural Development Project monitored the ongoing subprojects in the Municipality of Talayan, Maguindanao, on May 5, 2022.

The subproject is concreting 9.50 kilometers Farm to Market Road with two bridges with 70.56 linear meters connecting five barangay within the road influence area in the said Municipality.

The MILGU of Talayan proposed this subproject to address poor road conditions from the farm to market road. Specifically, this project will support the oil palm industry in the locality based on the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP). Moreover, this project will benefit 4,651 individuals within the Road Influence Area (RIA).

Meanwhile, Al-Aviv G. Pendulat, Associate SES Officer, introduced the KoboTool platform, geotagged photos, and SES monitoring checklist during the monitoring.

KoboTool is a platform for field data collection in challenging environments that allows you to collect data in the field using mobile devices such as mobile phones or tablets and paper or computers.

The activity is joint monitoring of the I-BUILD, SES, GGU, and M&E  of the Regional Project Coordination Office-BARMM.
