MAFARs fishery law enforcement officers train water search, rescue

MAGUINDANAO- 30 fishery law enforcement officers of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform have undergone rigorous rescue training at the 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division in Brgy. Semba, Awang on March 29-31, 2022.

Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) aims to equip the law enforcement officers on the proper handling of rescue operations, to become more confident and responsible for ensuring the safety of life at sea, and for having advanced knowledge of water search and rescue.

Director-General for Fisheries Services Pendatun S. Patarasa lauded the active leadership of the OIC-Chief of Fisheries Law Enforcement Division, Senior Aquaculturist Norhata S. Dumasil, in her never-ending zest to lead her division to become the best in terms of search and rescue.

He was also adamant about a possible change for the Bangsamoro community.

Macmod D. Mamalangkap, Director II for Fisheries Services, was also in attendance during the training and gave his utmost support and encouragement to the participants and thanked everyone for their presence and cooperation.
