PRDP Conducts Goat Canvassing for Subproject Goat Multiplication, Fattening, Marketing

As the two subprojects of PRDP in Maguindanao, BARMM; Kalian Bangsamoro Women Agri-Marketing Cooperative and Lumpingan Agripreneur Marketing Cooperative are near the completion stage, the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO) and Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) with the chairmen of the two cooperatives, conducted goats canvassing on March 2-3, 2021.

Different suppliers from different places in Davao Region and General Santos City participated in the activity. Two suppliers from Bansalan, Davao del Norte, one from Digos, Davao del Sur and one from General Santos City. The suppliers are MBRLC and Bhing and Lyn Livestock Trading, Four F Livestock Trading and Hud Agri Cooperative, respectively.

The RPCO and PLGU reiterated to the suppliers the specifications they are requiring. To which, the goats need to be vaccinated, ear tagged and should be 8-12 months old for the multiplication and 3-4 months old for the fattening. With the given specifications, all the suppliers have committed to deliver what are required from them.

The subprojects of PRDP-RPCO BARMM are World Bank funded projects which aims to uplift the lives of the farmers and fisherfolks in the Philippines.
