RPCO-BARMM conducts assessment planning workshops with PSO-Mindanao

DAVAO CITY-The Regional Project Coordination Office-BARMM of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform-Philippine Rural Development Project with Project Support Office-Mindanao have conducted a three-day assessment planning workshop to review and plan the activities for the upcoming AF2-EU implementation.

On February 22-24, the I-PLAN, I-BUILD, I-REAP, and I-SUPPORT component representatives participated in the activity.

The said activity aims to assess the status of ongoing Sub-Projects (SPs) implementation within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

In a statement, Project Director for PRDP Mindanao Abel James Monteagudo thanked the RPCO BARMM for initiating the activity and showing their desire to continue with the projects in the Bangsamoro region. 

He rests assured that the PSO Mindanao is one with the RPCO-BARMM to provide livelihood and growth to the farmers and fisherfolk to secure lasting peace in BARMM.

During the activity, the participants came up with synchronized priorities, and directions for 2022 reviewed and planned specific activities for the upcoming AF2-EU implementation.

Moreover, the activity also serves as a venue to discuss the project’s key consideration timelines, factors that hinder project implementation, and strategies to fast-track the compliance of necessary documents.
