HVCDP and Organic Program handed inspection and delivery of inputs to Island Provinces

In support of the BINHI Program of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform, the High-Value Crop Development Program, and the Organic Banner Program, handed inspection and delivery of Agricultural inputs to the MAFAR Island Province from January 9-16, 2022.

The activity aimed to maximize the farmers’ intervention, funded under the 2021 General Appropriation Act for Bangsamoro (GAAB) Fund.

Under the HVCDP, the Tawi-Tawi Province received 5,000 Robusta and Excelsa Coffee, 5,000 Cacao UF-18, 3,000 assorted Fruits.

Basilan province has 5,000 Coffee, Robusta, and Excelsa, 8,000 Cacao UF-18, and 3,000 assorted Fruits.

Sulu also received 18,000 Cacao UF-18 and 3,500 Assorted Fruits.

The said three Provinces have also received the following interventions under Organic Program to which are 80 Organic Rice seeds, 40 Organic Fertilizers, 240/140L Foliar Fertilizer, and 30 Glutinous Corn Seeds.

Furthermore, the said activity will also be conducted in the Provinces of Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, SGA, Cotabato City, and MAFAR Regional Office.
